A Chery Oriental EASTAR B11 with a mileage of about 92000 km 4l car. The user reported that the sunroof of the car suddenly failed to act.
Fault diagnosis: after commissioning, the fault does exist. According to the experience of repairing the vehicle, the main causes of the fault generally include burning of sunroof fuse, damage of sunroof control module, damage of sunroof motor, short circuit or open circuit of relevant lines and stuck key travel switch. After inspection, it was found that the fuse of the sunroof system of the vehicle was burned. The maintenance technician first replaced the fuse, then went out and tried to get off the car, but the fuse burned again. According to the circuit diagram (as shown in Figure 1), the main fuse of sunroof and electric sunshade share one 20A fuse. The maintenance perEASTAR B11nel successively disconnected the connectors of relevant lines of the sunroof system for inspection, and the result was that the fault remained the same.
At this time, the maintenance technician considers that it is likely that the fault is caused by the electric sunshade. So continue to disconnect the electric sunshade line connector, and the fault disappears at this time. After observation, it is found that the user has piled too many things at the electric sunshade, which has led to the force jamming of the electric sunshade support. After removing these items and readjusting the position of the support, everything was normal and the fault was completely eliminated.
Maintenance summary: this fault is a typical fault caused by improper operation of the user, so we should not only repair the car, but also guide the user to use the car correctly.
